The anti trip wedge is an additional element to the rubber granulate tiles and is applied for levelling up the height difference between two flooring areas - as a ramp: safely and smoothly. Typical application cases are training islands made of fitness floor mats in a gym, playground equipment secured with fall protection tiles in a part of a schoolyard or covering the composite paving with elastic tiles.

Thus, in every case it is about sections of paved areas covered with rubber granulate tiles. The smooth transition zone between the paved into the covered area has a form of a wedge can be used by trolleys, wagons and vehicles. If needed, it can be stuck with the PU glue or double-sided adhesive tape to the underfloor.

Colour
Brick red

In the colour brick red, the black rubber granulate (SBR) from the car tyres is mixed with a binder, into that a brick red colour pigment (iron oxide) was mixed. The black car tyre rubber granules are coated with the brick red colour. Brick red is a colour hue that can be found for hundreds of years in construction materials for roofs, walls and floors. According to this viewing habit, brick red products can be mounted almost everywhere.

Material

The rubber granulate with irregularly formed particles is obtained from discarded tyres. It mainly consists in the high-valuable mix of natural rubber (NR) and synthetically manufactured Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR). The material properties of the WARCO preform largely correspond to those known from SBR. The granulate with an edge length from 1.0 to 3.0 mm creates fine-grained surfaces.

Assembly or connection system

The wedge element has an anti-skid, rough bottom side. For a temporary use, it can be simply laid on an appropriate base course. In other cases it's good to fix it - preferably with a permanently elastic WARCO PU glue or (for sensitive grounds) with double-sided adhesive tape.

Structure of the underside

A network of 4 mm deep drainage channels across the elements is formed into the bottom side of the ramp - the one in contact with the base course. The elements are laid on an appropriate bound base course. Please take note of the laying instruction.
